A Practical Study on Improving the Doctor-patient Communication Skills of Clinical Medical Students through the Course of Doctor-patient Communication Skills
Objective:To explore the effectiveness of the doctor-patient communication skills course on improving the doctor-patient communication ability of clinical medical students,and to provide a basis for medical education to cultivate the doctor-patient communication ability of clinical medical students.Method:The"Medical Student doctor-patient Communication Ability Scale"compiled by Peng Hong was used to understand the doctor-patient communication ability of medical students before and after class,and to evaluate the characteristics and application of the course after class.Result:The communication skills between doctors and patients among medical students in 2018 and 2019 have significantly improved.Most medical students believe that the course content is rich,the layout design is reasonable,and the practicality is good.It is recommended to use lively language and incorporate the latest progress and evaluation system.Conclusion:Offering a course on doctor-patient communication skills can significantly improve the communication skills of medical students.Local universities can learn from this approach to cultivate the doctor-patient communication skills of clinical medical students.
