Research on Strategies for Enhancing English Learning Ability of High School Students in County Areas under the Background of New Curriculum Standards
To enhance students'learning power is an important way to build a learning society and implement the workforce development strategy.Through the investigation and analysis of the language learning power of the senior one students in the county,the study aims to understand the students'learning power from four dimensions:English knowledge and experience,learning motivation,learning ability,critical thinking and innovative ability.It is found that most students have certain English learning ability,learning motivation,English knowledge and experience,and critical thinking and innovative ability,but they are short of enough English knowledge and experience.Thus,the study proposes strategies to enhance students'learning power at senior high in the county from three aspects:activating internal motivation,cooperative learning and establishing an exoteric evaluation system.
