With the development of education in our country,the teaching level of private universities is also constantly improving.As one of the compulsory basic courses for many majors in universities,higher education courses play an irreplaceable role in the comprehensive development of students.However,the teaching effect of advanced mathematics courses in some private universities is not ideal.Therefore,universities should take effective measures to improve the teaching quality of advanced mathematics courses,select appropriate teaching content based on professional development needs;Strengthen the construction of the teaching staff and enhance their teaching skills;Utilize online course resources and adopt a blended learning approach;Introducing mathematical modeling appropriately to enhance students'application abilities,in order to promote the reform of advanced mathematics courses in private universities and further enhance the teaching effectiveness of the course.
