College staff club activities are an important part of the leisure life of college teachers, which have important value and significance in enriching their leisure cultural life, promoting their physical and mental health, enriching and building a good campus culture, and ensuring the sustainable development of universities. The article selects 156 faculty members from a certain university who participate in clubs as the research subjects.Using the methods of literature review, expert interviews, questionnaire surveys, and mathematical statistics, from the perspectives of managers and participants, this study focuses on the current situation of the construction of faculty associations and feedback from faculty members. The analysis shows that the factors that affect the good construction of faculty associations mainly manifest in three aspects:first, insufficient funding support for associations, single fundraising channels;second, innovative content of association activities, low utilization of activity venues;third,a lack of professional guidance personnel for associations, and insufficient talent guarantee. The following suggestions are proposed to address the above issues:activate internal motivation in clubs and increase fundraising channels;Increase inter school exchange activities and promote the sharing of activity resources and facilities;Establish a volunteer service group for teachers and students to ensure the protection of guiding talents.
