Review and Reflection on Mathematical Modeling Research in Primary and Secondary Schools in China——Analysis of core journal literature from 2013 to 2023
This study uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,selecting 70 core literature in the field of mathematical modeling in primary and secondary schools in China from 2013 to 2023 in CNKI as the object of analysis.The study analyzes the annual publication volume,institutional distribution,research objects,research methods,research hotspots,and research content.From the perspective of research content,the research on mathematical modeling in primary and secondary schools in China mainly focuses on two directions:theoretical research and empirical research.Theoretical research includes three aspects:mathematical modeling in textbooks,cultivation of mathematical modeling,and teaching of mathematical modeling;Empirical research includes three aspects:the development of mathematical modeling evaluation tools,the current status of student mathematical modeling,and the factors influencing mathematical modeling.The article analyzes the problems that have arisen in the current research on mathematical models in primary and secondary schools,and provides prospects for future research.
