Exploration on Cross-cultural Adaptation in Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Models——A Case Study of Sino-German University Programmes in Sichuan University
In recent years,China has prioritized the high-quality growth of Chinese-foreign cooperative education to meet national demands for internationally oriented engineering talents.This educational approach is vital for fostering cross-cultural adaptation and is a key component of international education.Beyond cultivating local cultural identity,students must understand and respect diverse cultural norms,enhancing their global competence.This paper uses the Sino-German program at Sichuan University as a case study,analyzing strategies for cross-cultural adaptation like improving language skills,creating a culturally immersive environment,and emphasizing ideological and political education.The goal is to boost students'cross-cultural skills and create a model for educational success.
