Computer Network Principles is one of the important courses in open education.Under the background of new engineering disciplines,computer network teaching needs to adopt new teaching methods and means to adapt to the development of the times and the needs of students.The virtual simulation teaching and training platform is a new teaching method that can help students better master computer related knowledge and skills,and improve classroom teaching effectiveness.The article is based on an overview of the Computer Network Principles course,analyzing the significance and construction strategies of building a virtual simulation teaching and training platform,in order to provide reference for the teaching reform of the Computer Network Principles course in open education.
