The Role Dilemma and Transformation of Teachers in the Context of Artificial Intelligence
The fourth technological revolution,represented by artificial intelligence technology,has accelerated the transformation of the education sector. While artificial intelligence technology provides convenience for teaching,it also brings challenges to the role of teachers,such as challenging their knowledge authority and weakening the emotional connection between teachers and students. Solving the role dilemma of teachers should promote the transformation of their roles into constructors of curriculum knowledge,cultivators of higher-order thinking,communicators of emotions and spirits,and leaders of ideological and moral values. Based on this,strategies for achieving role transformation from the subjective perspective of teachers are proposed:updating curriculum teaching concepts,enhancing teachers' digital literacy,paying attention to their own emotional qualities,and cultivating excellent teacher ethics.
