Carrying out effective red education and labor education is an important means for universities in the new era to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents. On the basis of sorting out the connotations and characteristics of red education and labor education in universities in the new era,the article finds that the two have compatible value goals,shared training content,and complementary educational methods. The effective integration of the two has profound internal logic and contemporary significance. In this regard,the article proposes that the integration of red education and labor education in universities can be improved through the creation of an educational system,the enrichment of educational resources,and the expansion of educational carriers.
