Bilingual Teaching Reform and Practice in Higher Vocational Colleges under the Background of "the Belt and Road"——Taking the Course "Electrified Railway Foundation" as an Example
Under the framework of high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road",the international influence of China's railway is expanding,the attraction of cooperation is growing,and the demand for bilingual technical talents in railway related majors is also growing. This article conducts a research on the bilingual teaching reform and practice of the professional basic course "Electrified Railway Fundamentals" in the Railway Power Supply Technology major. Based on the problems existing in the teaching team,course resources,teaching mode,assessment and evaluation,reform and practical plans are proposed. The effectiveness of the bilingual teaching reform is analyzed,and the excellent rate of students' academic performance has significantly increased. The professional ability and English level have been improved,and the quality of bilingual talent cultivation in the Railway Power Supply Technology major has been improved.
