Vocational normal students are important reserve forces for vocational education in China,playing a crucial role in the high-quality development of vocational and technical education.Professional identity is one of the important influencing factors on the learning and educational quality of vocational normal students.The article takes 700 undergraduate normal students from J Vocational and Technical Normal University in Jilin Province as the research object,and conducts a survey on their professional identity through questionnaire and interview methods.The survey analysis shows that the professional identity of vocational normal students is generally at a medium to low level,mainly due to factors such as low social recognition,limited career development space,and poor educational environment.Strategies for cultivating professional identity of vocational normal students are proposed from the social,school,and individual levels.
