Abstract
In the context of globalization,English,as an international lingua franca,plays an important role in academic communication,information acquisition,cultural exchange,and other aspects.The article analyzes the obstacles in English reading for non English major college students and proposes corresponding strategies to improve their reading abilities,including cultivating reading interest,expanding reading scope,establishing reading strategies and habits,etc.I hope to help non English major college students overcome difficulties,improve their English reading ability,and better adapt to the needs of future society.
