The cultivation of students majoring in medical social work cannot be separated from high-quality professional internships.The medical social work major in medical colleges can rely on abundant medical education resources and numerous hospital internship bases for curriculum design and professional practice.This article found through qualitative interviews and text analysis that medical colleges have relatively weak disciplinary status due to insufficient experience in social work education.There are many difficulties in school internship planning,internship system construction,hospital internship acceptance,and student internship perception.It is proposed to empower the medical social work profession across multiple boundaries,continuously improve and refine the management and education system of professional internships,and build a communication and negotiation based medical social work joint supervision model to construct the development strategy of Inner Mongolia's medical social work professional internship system,in order to provide reference and thinking for cultivating high-quality medical social work professionals who can adapt to the development of Inner Mongolia.
