Mathematical modeling,as a scientific method, helps students better understand mathematical knowledge, improve their application abilities, and cultivate innovative thinking. The article first proposes four strategies for cultivating mathematical modeling abilities:deep integration of mathematical modeling and professional knowledge, introduction of research-based learning methods, implementation of the"mathematical modeling+"expansion plan, and establishment of a thinking training system for mathematical modeling.Subsequently, four practical paths for mathematical modeling were elaborated:case study method, reverse engineering thinking, interdisciplinary practice, and real-time data modeling. These strategies and practical paths together form a comprehensive framework for cultivating mathematical modeling abilities in vocational mathematics teaching, aiming to broaden students'modeling perspectives and enhance their ability to deal with complex real-world problems.
