Teaching Strategies for English Translation Courses Based on PBL Model
Translation ability is a core component of English major students'abilities,supported by English grammar knowledge and translation skills.With the development of the economy and society and the strengthening trend of globalization,the teaching of translation courses in English majors is facing greater challenges.PBL,as a problem-based teaching model,advocates being problem driven,encouraging students to complete learning tasks through independent exploration and collaborative learning,enhancing their critical thinking and translation abilities,and gradually growing into applied professionals.Based on the current implementation status of English major teaching,this article elaborates on the elements of English translation courses under the PBL mode,and proposes a series of teaching optimization strategies to provide assistance for the dual development of students'translation ability and literacy.
