Time Series Analysis and Prediction of the Scale of General Higher Education in the New Era
Since the new era,the scale of general higher education in our country has developed rapidly.This paper selects five time series data of the number of general higher education schools,the number of students,the number of full-time teachers,the construction area of school buildings,the total value of teaching and scientific research equipment to analyze the growth rate,reflecting the new breakthrough in the development of the scale of general higher education in China since the new era.In order to better understand the development of the scale of general higher education in the last two years of the"14th Five-Year Plan"period,the least square method is used to determine the time trend equation,make linear trend prediction and evaluate the prediction results,and finally give the predicted value of the last two years of the"14th Five-Year Plan"period.
