In the context of globalization,international talent cultivation has become an important mission of higher education,and university English teaching,as an important part of it,should continuously improve and innovate teaching methods to enhance the quality of talent cultivation.The article explores the reform of college English teaching mode based on the cultivation of international talents by interpreting the connotation of international talents,from the aspects of teaching goal positioning,curriculum design,teaching methods and means,evaluation and feedback,and teacher team construction.The aim is to provide some inspiration for college English teaching and promote the innovation and development of teaching mode.
