Research on the Teaching Mode of Higher Vocational English Based on POA Theory
At present,although there have been achievements in grammar knowledge and vocabulary accumulation in vocational English teaching,there are still shortcomings in improving students'practical application abilities.For vocational college students,mastering fluent English is not only the key to enhancing personal career competitiveness,but also a basic requirement for adapting to an international work environment.Based on the POA theory analysis,taking into account the differentiated learning needs of students,improving teachers'teaching abilities,and expanding practical teaching both inside and outside of class,we optimize the design of teaching objectives and tasks for vocational English,and construct a"driving facilitating evaluating"teaching process.This will make efforts to promote comprehensive reform and innovation in vocational English teaching,and cultivate high-quality and high-level talents with international perspectives and practical abilities.
