Objective:To explore the application effect of SNAPPS and CBL teaching modes in clinical internship teaching of infectious diseases.Method:Clinical medicine interns who interned in the Infectious Diseases Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects. There were 30 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The experimental group received SNAPPS combined with CBL teaching method, while the control group received traditional teaching method. At the end of the clinical internship, two groups of students will undergo subject exams, including clinical skills exams and theoretical exams.Conduct statistical analysis on the exam scores of two groups of students to evaluate the effectiveness of the internship.Result:The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in the theoretical and clinical skills exams compared to the control group(86.93±97 vs 79.63±58,P<0.01).Conclusion:The combination of SNAPPS and CBL teaching mode can help improve students'learning interest, clinical thinking, and academic performance, and is worthy of further promotion and application in clinical teaching.
