Nonviolent communication has important educational value in promoting effective communication between teachers and students,enhancing students'self-expression and cognitive abilities,and cultivating students'empathy and social responsibility.However,the application of nonviolent communication in the education work of local universities faces challenges such as insufficient awareness among teachers and students,constraints of traditional concepts,and limitations in the institutional environment of universities.To this end,the article proposes a series of strategies for the application of nonviolent communication in teaching,student management,and moral education work,in order to promote its greater role in local university education activities and better implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue and educating people.
