This article delves into the teaching difficulties of the subjunctive mood in vocational English education and proposes effective breakthrough strategies to address these challenges.The paper first analyzes the four major challenges faced in teaching the subjunctive mood.Then,it presents a series of targeted teaching strategies:building a cognitive bridge to facilitate students'transition between real and virtual contexts,dynamically analyzing grammar to enhance the synergistic mastery of tense and voice,conducting cross-cultural training to cultivate students'hypothetical thinking,and innovative practical applications to enhance students'contextual sensitivity and expressive innovation.These strategies are designed to help students better understand and master the subjunctive mood,thereby enhancing their English proficiency.
