Research on the Teaching Effect of"1+X"Maternal and Infant Nursing Course Based on Virtual Simulation Technology
Objective:To construct and evaluate the effectiveness of the"1+X"maternal and infant care course based on virtual simulation technology. Methods:Students from a vocational college in Guangdong Province who participated in the"1+X"maternal and infant care training class were selected as the research subjects.A random sampling method was used to divide the students into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used virtual simulation teaching, while the control group used traditional teaching. The learning effects of the two groups in each module, certificate examination scores and pass rates, practical comprehensive literacy, and course satisfaction were compared. Results:The experimental group's examination scores in all modules were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.001),and the certificate pass rate(96%)was higher than that of the control group(83.67%).Practical literacy showed significant differences in all aspects except teamwork(P<0.05).Conclusion:Virtual simulation technology can significantly improve the teaching effectiveness of maternal and infant care courses and enhance students'practical skills and satisfaction.
