摘要

在社会发展和教育教学过程中,中学英语教师是一个重要角色.促进中学英语教师职业发展,帮助中学英语教师解决发展过程中面临的挑战和问题,是社会学和教育学关注的热点.文章以组织社会学新制度主义为理论视角,对中学英语教师的职业声望现状进行调研,尝试解释职业声望与中学英语教师职业发展的内在联系,描述积极的教师职业声望对中学英语教师职业发展的促进作用.

Abstract

Middle school English teachers play an important role in social development and educational processes.Promoting the professional development of middle school English teachers and helping them solve the challenges and problems they face in their development process is a hot topic of concern in sociology and education.The article takes the new institutionalism of organizational sociology as a theoretical perspective to investigate the current status of the professional reputation of middle school English teachers,attempting to explain the inherent connection between professional reputation and the career development of middle school English teachers,and describing the promoting effect of positive teacher professional reputation on the career development of middle school English teachers.
