Exploring the Integration of Basic Mechanics Courses and Competitions:Promoting Learning and Teaching through Competitions
To boost students'motivation and initiative in the basic mechanics course group,we propose integrating a multi-level competition system—class, school, and national—into the teaching process.Additionally,we suggest introducing a variety of ongoing assessments, effectively incorporating mechanics competition results into the overall evaluation. This approach forms an integrated teaching model that combines curriculum and competition, aiming to enhance learning and teaching. This model has been shown to significantly increase students'active engagement and enthusiasm for learning,as well as improve their comprehensive abilities. Moreover,it effectively enhances teachers'professional expertise and practical skills, contributes to the development of the teaching team, and helps teachers understand the skill requirements and training needs for highly skilled personnel in the industry.
