Research and Practice on the Training Model of Biomedical Engineering Talents with Interdisciplinary Integration
With the rapid development of the biopharmaceutical industry, the traditional model for cultivating talent in biomedical engineering is no longer adequate to meet the demands of this modem, interdisciplinary field for high-caliber professionals with diverse skill sets.Presently, there are issues such as unclear training objectives, inaccurate disciplinary positioning, and an incomplete curriculum system within the education of biomedical engineering(with a focus on pharmacoinformatics).Furthermore, lagging behind in teaching content, textbooks, and faculty development has resulted in difficulties in meeting industry standards for talent cultivation. In response to these challenges, this study proposes and implements a multidisciplinary cross-integration talent cultivation model.Through measures such as reforming the curriculum system, establishing cross-disciplinary teaching teams, optimizing college organizational structures, and implementing quality control systems, our aim is to cultivate highly skilled professionals with interdisciplinary thinking capabilities in biomedicine, pharmacy, computer science and information technology. This will better serve the innovative development needs of the biopharmaceutical industry.
