Online ideological and political education in universities is gradually changing students'learning methods and thinking patterns with its rich teaching content and flexible dissemination methods.Starting from the perspective of online communication,this article explores the current ideological status of college students and the distinct characteristics of online ideological and political education in universities.It analyzes the shortcomings of current online ideological and political education in universities and proposes optimization and improvement strategies,in order to provide new ideas and references for universities to carry out online ideological and political work.
