Objective:To investigate the current status and influencing factors of health literacy among freshmen in vocational colleges under the background of Healthy China,and propose corresponding measures.Method:A cluster sampling method was adopted to select 1610 freshmen from a vocational college as the research subjects.Self made personal basic information questionnaire and health literacy survey questionnaire were used to collect student data and investigate their health literacy status.Result:There was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)in the health literacy scores of freshmen in vocational colleges with different gender,monthly living expenses,major type,mother's education level,father's education level,and interest in health knowledge;Through multiple regression analysis,it was found that gender,monthly living expenses,major type,mother's education level,father's education level,and interest in health knowledge are the influencing factors of health literacy among freshmen in vocational colleges(P<0.05).Conclusion:The health literacy of freshmen in vocational colleges is at a below average level,and schools should adopt reasonable and effective methods to further improve their health literacy.
