College counselors are the guardians of mental health education for college students,and mental health courses are the main channel for implementing psychological education.Counselors can serve as an important force in carrying out mental health course teaching.In order to understand the current situation of college counselors'participation in mental health course teaching,this study conducted a questionnaire survey of687 college counselors nationwide.The survey results showed that universities attach great importance to mental health education,but the participation of counselors in mental health course teaching needs to be strengthened,and counselors face problems such as insufficient ability and weak initiative in carrying out mental health course teaching.The comparative article proposes the construction of a psychological health education teaching team with counselors as the main body,explores the ways for counselors to educate students psychologically,improves the motivation for counselors to participate in the construction of psychological health courses,and provides reference for the construction and development of the psychological health education team for college students.
