To help college physical education teachers better adapt to the teaching needs of the digital age,this study intends to construct a digital teaching ability evaluation model for college physical education teachers.The article constructs preliminary evaluation indicators for digital teaching ability by reading literature and consulting experts,and quantifies the importance of each indicator using the Analytic Hierarchy Process.The results indicate that professional ethics is the most important primary indicator,and the importance of digital teaching awareness and understanding is particularly prominent below it;Under the indicators of teaching practice ability,digital teaching design ability and analytical ability of textbooks are more valued;Under the indicator of teaching and research ability,the improvement of digital sports professional knowledge and sports theoretical knowledge is particularly important;Under the expansion ability of indicator teaching,the importance of improving the ability of sports event organization referees and the grading of sports project referees surpasses similar indicators.
