Exploration of the Integration of Basic Course Education for Undergraduate Programs in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
The undergraduate foundational courses are the most fundamental and core component of higher education.Achieving the integration of undergraduate foundational course education within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA)serves as the basis for the comprehensive integration of higher education in the GBA.Based on the current status of the integration of undergraduate foundational course education in the GBA,this article proposes practical solutions to promote the integration of education in the GBA,including a combination of unified and differentiated lesson preparation,sharing of teaching and faculty resources across the GBA,cross-university elective courses for students,pilot projects for hierarchical and integrated universities,and the establishment of a"GBA Education Integration Committee".These measures aim to facilitate the high-quality development of undergraduate education in the GBA.
