Application of Scaffolding Theory in the Teaching of Calcium Channel Blockers
Objective:To explore the application of scaffolding theory in the teaching of"Calcium Channel Blockers"chapter in pharmacology.Method:A total of 186 students from 8 classes of the 2021 clinical medicine five-year undergraduate program at Sun Yat-sen University were selected as the research subjects for the"Calcium Channel Blocker"teaching based on stent theory.A questionnaire survey was conducted to evaluate the teaching quality and effectiveness in terms of satisfaction,teaching methods,teaching logic,classroom learning atmosphere,learning interest,understanding level,and learning quality.Result:The satisfaction with teaching resources and overall satisfaction with the course were both 100%;The satisfaction rate of teaching methods is 95.70%;The satisfaction rate with the logical teaching is 100%;The satisfaction rate of classroom learning atmosphere is 99.46%;The satisfaction rate of learning interest is 94.62%;The satisfaction rate of understanding the learning content is 98.92%;The satisfaction rate of learning quality is 99.46%.Conclusion:The scaffold theory is effective in the teaching of"Calcium Channel Blockers"and deserves further promotion and use.
