Countermeasures and Suggestions for Optimizing the Human Resource Structure of the Manufacturing Industry Through the Application of Artificial Intelligence
The widespread application of artificial intelligence(AI)related technologies,intelligent devices,and services in high-technology manufacturing,has put forward higher requirements for the quality of manufacturing labor.In order to deeply explore the impact of the application of artificial intelligence in high-tech manufacturing on the employment structure of the manufacturing industry,and analyze the challenges of maintaining the advantages of labor resources in the manufacturing industry,literature analysis and field research are adopted.It is believed that in the era of intelligence,some workers will be replaced by machines,and the job demand for new skills and the employment gap will be formed.Meanwhile,the labor market supply has entered the stage of negative growth and normalization,and the flexible employment of various industries and new forms of business have attracted some high-quality labor.Focusing on the impact of the development and application of artificial intelligence technology on the manufacturing industry(especially high-tech manufacturing)and its employees,combining a survey of three domestic institutions and the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2018 to 2020,and using fsQCA,it is found that the level of industrial intelligence,education level of labor force,and patent investment scale are three key factors behind the changes in the employment structure of the manufacturing industry.To this end,this paper proposes to improve the employment structure in manufacturing through multiple actions,including strengthening overall planning,promoting emerging technologies,and intensifying talent cultivation,so as to maintain the advantage of human resources in this industry.
