The Impact Mechanism of Team Innovation Mission on Innovation Efficiency of University Research Teams
Innovative mission is essentially a positive scientific and technological innovation concept with the core connotation of adhering to quality and striving for excellence,while the value connotation promoted by the innovation mission coincides with the development needs of universities.In view of this,it is necessary to reveal the deep impact of the innovation mission on the innovation efficiency of university research teams,known as the"black box".Taking 96 research teams from 22 science and engineering universities in China as the research objects,a dynamic research paradigm of empirical sampling is adopted to conduct a continuous 10-month diary survey,and the deep impact mechanism of team innovation mission on the innovation efficiency of research teams in universities is discussed.Meanwhile,the process mechanism of team promoting regulatory focus and the situational mechanism of transformational leadership are revealed.The results show that the team's innovation mission will promote the steady improvement of innovation efficiency in university research teams by forming a positive technological innovation motivation with a team promoting regulatory focus,thereby achieving high-quality innovation in science and engineering universities,and transformational leadership can significantly promote this effect.Therefore,it is suggested that universities of China should not only actively promote and practice the concept of innovative mission,but also attach importance to the embedding and transformation mechanism of team innovation mission,establish the correct value concept of university research team work,form positive team work motivation,and build an efficient team innovation ecosystem.
