A Literature Review of Research on Green and Low-carbon Transformation and Development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
The past decade has seen various academic researches on the green and low-carbon of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(hereinafter referred to as'the Greater Bay Area').To summarize research results and clarify future research directions, this paper reviews literature on the theme of"Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area+Green and Low-carbon"indexed in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database, and uses CiteSpace for visual analysis. After research,253 papers since 2010 has been compiled, the core authors, research institutions, and their collaborative relationships have been sorted out,and five research areas and several hot topics are summarized.Further, based on the central and local policy documents, the paper also explores and proposes its future research trends. The results show that during the study period, the number of relevant publications has increased, but it only accounts for 0.32%of all papers related to the Greater Bay Area, which means the academic achievements are not many.Among them, there are seven authors with more than three articles, the core authors and institutions are mainly from the Greater Bay Area, the cooperation group has obvious regional and disciplinary limitations, and mainly universities and research institutes;a total of 26 highly cited papers(10.3%)with cited times or more than 6 times, the total cited times is 470 times, and the research content mainly involves green transformation development, low carbon, ecological environment, and carbon finance;besides, the 14 key keywords, including carbon neutrality, green finance, and green development, etc.,have formed six clusters, and the evolution of the research hotspot is in five stages. At the same time, the research finds that the relevant research is consistent with national and provincial policies, but has not reached the height of ecological civilization planned by the central government,so it is expected to become hotspot in the Greater Bay Area.Based on this,it is suggested that the academic community should further conduct research on low-carbon issues in the Greater Bay Area from the perspective of ecological civilization in the future, and strengthen interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research cooperation between Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,so as to make relevant research more consistent with the national policies, and make theoretical contributions to the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
