Realization Path of Symbiotic Evolution Between Breakthrough Innovation and Value Networks:An Exploratory Case Study on Hisense Laser TV
Breakthrough innovation value network changes dynamically with the evolution of breakthrough innovation, and this network change has a certain regularity. In order to further reveal the dynamic matching and balance between the evolution of breakthrough innovation and the change of value network, this paper takes the development history of laser TV of Hisense Video Technology Co.,Ltd.as the research object, using an exploratory case study approach, summarizes breakthrough innovation into three periods from the perspective of technology evolution:exploration and development, knowledge materialization, and iteration and optimization.Further, from the perspective of market evolution, the network characteristics and evolution rules of breakthrough innovation value network in different periods are summarized, and the symbiotic evolutionary structure model of breakthrough innovation and value network is constructed to clarify the internal relationship between breakthrough innovation and value network. It is found that the three stages of breakthrough innovation have different focuses. In the exploration and development stage, the commercialization technology route of breakthrough innovation is determined;in the knowledge materialization stage, the technology framework is improved based on the technology route and mass production products are formed;and in the iteration and optimization stage, initial products are constantly upgraded. At the same time, the main entities of the network will change dynamically in different periods, which in turn enable enterprises to update and adjust the technical direction and development strategy in time. Therefore,if enterprises want to achieve breakthrough innovation in a dynamic and open environment, they should align themselves with different industries and build a dynamic value network, and timely adjust the subject and its relationship on the value network to overcome the resource constraints in the process of breakthrough innovation.
