How does Intellectual Capital Influence Innovative Work Behavior of Technological Professionals in the Context of Artificial Intelligence:An Integrative Moderating Model
As artificial intelligence(AI)technology continues to evolve, businesses are encountering heightened levels of competition in the market. For companies looking to maintain their core competitiveness, stimulating innovative work behavior among technological professionals has become a critical issue.Intellectual capital, which encompasses the collective knowledge, expertise, and innovative potential of an organization, can play a crucial role in driving innovative work behavior. However, its influential mechanisms in the AI context are not yet fully understood and require further exploration to gain an in-depth understanding.Based on the knowledge-based view of enterprises(KBV),we first investigate the impact mechanism of the three dimensions of intellectual capital on innovative work behavior, and then we utilize the Job Demands-Resources(JD-R)model to further analyze the effects of the interaction of perceived career sustainability and resistance to AI technology on the influencing mechanism.Taking 474 technological professionals from Chinese manufacturing enterprises as samples, our empirical results show that:(1)Human capital and social capital have a positive promoting effect on innovative work behavior, while organizational capital has an inverted U-shaped relationship with innovative work behavior;(2)The interaction of perceived career sustainability and AI technology resistance has significant moderating effects on the three main mechanisms.
