The Experience and Inspiration of the Japan BRAIN Initiative
At present,the brain program has become a key area of science and technology competition in major developed countries.Japan launches the brain science earlier,and has achieved rich experience and results in the implementation of brain program,can provide experience for the implementation and optimization of Chinese brain plan.This paper briefly reviews the preparation progress,guarantee measures,management framework and research achievements of Japan,the result shows that its brain science is established on sufficient and scientific debate,the government provides stable and sufficient investment,the institution with high convening power and influence in the field lead and coordinate the implementation of the program,internationalization talents is always regarded as an important criterion for team building and talent policy.What's more,the policies provide a comprehensive guarantee for the successful implementation of the program,including both long-term strategic planning and special talent support policies,laws for the protection of the brain bank construction.Drawing on Japan's experience,in the future,the implementation strategy of China brain plan can be combined with the reality of its own development,taking the internationalization of team building,the stability of fund security,the standardization of scientific research ethics management,and the coordination of participating institutions,etc.,as the main optimization directions.
