以中国医疗设备领域上市公司2016-2020年企业联合申请专利为依据,深入探索技术多元化对关键核心技术突破的作用效应以及内在机制.研究结果表明,技术多元化与关键核心技术突破间呈倒"U"型关系,即技术多元化有助于关键核心技术突破,但是需要注意阈值效应;管理者认知复杂性与关键核心技术之间正相关,管理者认知集中性与关键核心技术突破之间负相关;技术多元化与关键核心技术突破之间的倒"U"型关系受到管理者认知的中介作用;当企业组织惯性较高时,管理者认知复杂性与关键技术核心突破的关系会弱化.综上,指出企业在追求技术多元化的同时,需要平衡和优化其技术组合,确保关键核心技术领域的深度开发和有效供给,及企业在追求关键核心技术突破时,应重视培养和选拔具有高认知复杂性的管理者,以便更好地应对技术的复杂性和市场的动态变化.
The Impact Mechanism of Technological Diversification in Patent Cooperation Networks on Breakthroughs in Key Core Technologies:The Mediating Role of Managerial Cognition and Organizational Inertia
Based on the joint patent application of listed companies in the field of medical equipment in China from 2016 to 2020,the effect and internal mechanism of technology diversification on key core technology breakthroughs are deeply explored.The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between technology diversification and key core technology breakthrough,that is,technology diversification contributes to key core technology breakthrough,but it needs to pay attention to the threshold effect;There is a positive correlation between the cognitive complexity of managers and the key core technologies,and a negative correlation between the cognitive concentration of managers and the breakthrough of key core technologies.The inverted U-shaped relationship between technology diversification and key core technology breakthrough is mediated by managers'cognition.When organizational inertia is high,the relationship between management cognitive complexity and core breakthrough of key technologies will weaken.To sum up,it is pointed out that while pursuing technology diversification,enterprises need to balance and optimize their technology portfolio to ensure the deep development and effective supply of key core technology fields,and when pursuing breakthroughs in key core technology,enterprises should pay attention to training and selecting managers with high cognitive complexity in order to better cope with the complexity of technology and the dynamic changes of the market.
