Research on How Low-Carbon Technology Leads the Revitalization of Rural Areas:The Mechanism and Practical Pathways of the Photovoltaic Industry
This paper presents a case study on how photovoltaic technology empowers rural revitalization in Ningxia. It constructs a theoretical analysis framework that considers from the perspectives of key stakeholders in the photovoltaic industry. These stakeholders include government entities, photovoltaic companies, and village collective organizations. This paper delves into the mechanisms and pathways that enable photovoltaic technology to empower rural revitalization. The research reveals that photovoltaic technology empowers rural revitalization through three major mechanisms:firstly,it enables the integrated development of agricultural specialty industries and the transformation of energy structures in rural areas;secondly,it generates employment opportunities and accelerates the accumulation of human capital of peasant households;thirdly,it improves infrastructure and enhances the rural culture vitality.Based on these findings, the paper introduces the"photovoltaic+"concept to drive a green industrial revitalization path that integrates the development of specialty industries. It also suggests a talent revitalization path that ensures the supply of skilled labor matches the demands of the photovoltaic industry.Furthermore,it advocates for an organizational revitalization path that encourages diverse stakeholders to participate in the management of photovoltaic projects.
