The Role and Path of Local Universities in Participating the Construction of Comprehensive National Science Centers:Taking Dongguan University of Technology as an Example
The comprehensive national science center is the fundamental platform for the construction of the national innovation system,and also the strategic carrier for the country to compete to become the next world center for scientific activities.As an important combination point of technology as the primary productive force,talent as the primary resource,and innovation as the primary driving force,universities must play an important supporting role in it.By analyzing and sorting out the actual situation of the role played by universities,especially local universities,in the construction process of five comprehensive national science centers in Shanghai Zhangjiang,Anhui Hefei,Beijing Huairou,Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area,and Xi'an,and taking Dongguan University of Technology's comprehensive participation in serving the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area comprehensive national science center pilot zone as an example,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions on how local universities,which account for more than 90％of undergraduate institutions,can effectively participate in and support the carrier path of services in the construction of comprehensive national science centers.
