Analysis and Discussion on Top-ranking Sci-tech Journals Assisting Science and Technology Innovation of Province-Level Administrative Regions
Under the background of cultivating top-ranking sci-tech journals,this paper focuses on sci-tech journals and regional sci-tech innovation by means of online research,literature research and data analysis,presents the construction and regional distribution of top-ranking sci-tech journals and analyzes the linkage between sci-tech journals and key elements of science and technology innovation,to explore the assistance role of sci-tech journals in technological innovation.Taking Hunan Province as an example,the paper analyzes the achievements and problems of support policies in the process of cultivating top-ranking sci-tech journals to assist science and technology innovation in province-level administrative regions.The research presents the following conclusions:the distribution of top-ranking sci-tech journals in various regions is uneven;there are significant correlations between sci-tech journals and elements of regional innovation;some problems exist during the policy implementation supporting the development of sci-tech journals to assist science and technology innovation,such as inadequate discourse power of the dominant subjects,small scale of the top-ranking sci-tech periodicals,the insignificant effects of service industry,the inefficient output of scientific and technological achievements,and the weak linkage between scientific and technological innovation factors and the periodical policy support.Finally,based on data statistics and case analysis,this research offers suggestions from three aspects including strengthening support for science and technology policies,expanding the scale of first-class sci-tech journals,and promoting the output of high-quality sci-tech achievements,which would provide certain reference for regions to strengthen the construction of sci-tech journals and assist in the development of science and technology innovation.
