The Impact of Green Finance and Digital Intelligence Empowerment on Regional Innovation Ecosystem Resilience
Green finance, digital intelligence empowerment and regional innovation ecosystem resilience are in line with the requirements of the new development concept, and are of great significance to China's realization of high-quality economic development. However, few existing studies have taken into account the joint impact of these two on the resilience of regional innovation ecosystems.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2009 to 2021,this paper firstly constructs the evaluation index system of regional innovation ecosystem resilience, green finance, digital intelligence empowerment, and measures them usingthe entropy method.Dynamic panel GMM model, spatial Durbin model and panel threshold model is employed to examine the impact of green finance and digital intelligence empowerment on regional innovation ecosystem resilience. It finds that digital intelligence empowerment significantly improves the resilience of the regional innovation ecosystem, while green finance significantly weakens the resilience of the regional innovation ecosystem, and the joint impact of these two is negative.Green finance has significant negative spatial spillover effects.Digital intelligence empowerment has significant positive local effects and neighbor effects in different directions in the three major regions in eastern, central and western China. As green finance matures, the role of digital intelligence empowerment in promoting the resilience of regional innovation ecosystems significantly increases. To this end,it is important to leverage the demonstration and radiative effects of advanced regions to the growth of surrounding areas. However, attention must also be given to preventing erosion and siphoning effects, which could lead to resource depletion and unfair competition.
