Analysis of Key Characteristic Profiles of Unicorn Companies in Beijing on the Basis of Contrastive Learning Model
Unicorn companies,as technology innovators and economic growth indicators,have infused significant dynamism into the city's economic development and technological innovation.Vigorously promoting the cultivation and development of unicorn companies has become essential for strengthening the construction of innovation entities,with initiatives like profiling innovators and guiding frontrunners being necessary measures.Therefore,it is imperative to conduct a study on the profiles of unicorn companies.This study focuses on unicorn companies in Beijing,with gazelle companies as a contrastive reference.First,the study constructs a profile label system for unicorns under the principles of comprehensiveness,relativity and high-growth characteristics.Next,key characteristics of companies are identified through Gower distance calculation,optimal feature binning,and contrastive learning model.Finally,the key characteristics of unicorn companies in Beijing are visualized with word cloud technology.Specifically,the data of 170 unicorn companies and 11 385 gazelle companies are collected,and 30 unicorn company 30 labels are constructed from 8 dimensions.Subsequently,on the basis of the initial sample set,the Gower distance is used to select the gazelle company comparison set for the unicorn company experimental set,and the numerical features are discretized based on optimal information value.The results indicate that Beijing's unicorn companies are primarily medium to large enterprises,with most located in Haidian District and concentrated in the scientific research and technical services industry.They excel in financing,with active outbound investment and a high level of technological innovation in patented inventions.But their international patents should be improved.In addition,high-risk issues concerning these companies warrant attention.To this end,unicorn companies need to pay attention to the rational utilization of funds and further enhance their outbound investment activity by ensuring the accuracy and long-term sustainability of their investments.More importantly,establish a sound legal team and formulate a clear and legally compliant corporate development policy to avoid potential legal disputes.The findings provide valuable insights to the cultivation and development of unicorn companies and contribute to the economic growth of Beijing.
