With the rail transportation equipment manufacturing industry as the research object,based on the value chain perspective,the industry chain toughness connotation,dimension,and formation mechanism is analyzed.It is found that industry chain toughness is the ability of an industry to resist shocks and recover and update in a timely manner in terms of technology,production,and market accumulated over a long time.Industry chain toughness includes the dimensions of industry technology,production,and market toughness.The four elements of policy,talent,capital,and digital are independently or synergistically empowered by the platform mechanism to promote the formation of the basic capabilities of the industry to promote the formation of the industry chain toughness.Based on the idea of inward tracing,it reveals the fundamental underlying logic of the formation of industrial chain resilience,and forms a theoretical deepening based on Chinese industry.
