半导体产业后发企业赶超创新链的构建——以韩国三星和荷兰阿斯麦为例

尽管半导体产业发展制度、需求与技术机会对首次创新追赶过程的影响机制研究已得到广泛关注,但少有研究对究竟如何在机会实现过程中构建创新链并成功赶超与持续性发展问题进行深入探究.以韩国三星和荷兰阿斯麦两家企业为案例对象,研究半导体产业后发企业的机会实现与创新链构建问题.结果发现:半导体产业发展中的制度、需求与技术赶超机会实现过程存在内部互补式和外部聚焦式两类创新链;内部互补式创新链以制度与需求机会的局部叠加过程为主线,实现人才回流、产品创新与内向性开放式研发等要素的并行式编排;外部聚焦式创新链根植于制度、需求与技术机会的系统聚合过程主线,实现人才分流、技术创新与外向性开放式研发等要素的选择式编排;局部机会叠加通过转化内部创新以完善创新链结构;系统机会聚合通过技术约简以促进创新链结构演进,并行式与选择式资源编制共同推进资源向价值跃迁.
The Construction of the Catch-up and Innovation Chain for Latecomer Enterprises in the Semiconductor Industry:Taking Samsung of the Republic of Korea and ASML of the Netherlands as Examples
Although the research on the role of development system,demand,and technological opportunities of latecomers in the semiconductor industry in catching up with initial innovation has received widespread attention,few studies intensively show how to build an innovation chain for successfully catching up and sustaining development in the process of opportunity realization.This paper takes the cases of Samsung of the Republic of Korea and Asml of the Netherlands to study the realization of opportunities and innovation chain construction in the semiconductor industry.The research results show as follows:(1)There are two types of innovation chains of internal complementary and external focused in semiconductor industry development of the system,demand,and technology to catch up with the opportunity process.(2)The internal complementary innovation chain takes the local superposition process of institutions and demand opportunities as the main thread,achieving a parallel arrangement of elements such as talent return,product innovation,and inward open R&D,while the external focused innovation chain is rooted in the systematic aggregation process of institutions,needs,and technological opportunities,achieving a selective arrangement of elements such as talent diversion,technological innovation,and outward oriented open research and development;(3)Overlapping local opportunities by transforming internal innovation can improve the innovation chain structure,system opportunity aggregation promotes the evolution of innovation chain structure through technological reduction,parallel and selective resource allocation jointly promote the transition of resources to value.
