The Relationship Between Enterprise Niche,Participation Level, and Innovation Ecosystem Value Co-creation:Analysis Based on the Moderating Role of Knowledge Reorganization
Niche reflects the uniqueness of an enterprise's own external resources and relative capabilities, affecting the content, flow, and mode of cross-border acquisition of resources between enterprises and their stakeholders, thereby having impacts on the practical effect of value co-creation of innovation ecosystem. However, the participation level and knowledge reorganization,as important situational elements, have not been included in the relevant research framework. Therefore, based on the resource-based view and niche theory, this paper divides enterprise niche into niche width, niche overlap, and niche suitability, and explores the role mechanism and situational conditions of enterprise niche in innovation ecosystem value co-creation.The collection and analysis of 253 survey data of high-tech enterprises find that:niche width and niche suitability positively affect innovation ecosystem value co-creation,but niche overlap negatively affects innovation ecosystem value co-creation.The participation level mediates the relationship between enterprise niches and innovation ecosystem value co-creation.Knowledge reorganization positively regulates the relationship between niche width, niche suitability and innovation ecosystem value co-creation,but negatively regulates the relationship between niche overlap and innovation ecosystem value co-creation.To this end, enterprises should formulate differentiated value co-creation strategies based on different enterprise niche scenarios, and improve the value co-creation effect of innovation ecosystem by enhancing the participation level of innovation ecosystem members and enhancing the ability of knowledge reorganization.
