Configurational Analysis of Regional Science and Technology Innovation Highlands Construction from the Perspective of Multiple Institutional Logics:Empirical Study of Trillion GDP Cities in the Yangtze River Delta
The construction of regional highlands with science and technology innovation orientation reflects the development process from economic orientation, science and technology orientation, transforming to the development process that emphasizes the synergy of multi-system logic such as science, technology, industry and city.Current research mainly focuses on the influencing factors and mechanisms of regional science and technology innovation highlands construction from the dimensions of regional science and technology innovation system, regional innovation ecology, and regional innovation capacity, with less research on the influence of urban functions, new infrastructure, sustainable development environment and their synergistic mechanisms. This paper attempts to construct the influencing factors of the current construction of regional S&T innovation highlands from the perspective of multiple institutional logics.Using the dynamic qualitative comparative analysis(QCA)research method to reveal the configurational patterns of mutual influence among factors such as scientific research, technological innovation, industrial development, and urban environment. It finds that there are 7 group paths to promote the formation of high innovation output in regional S&T innovation highlands, and summarises them into 3 modes:"synergy between scientific research platforms and scientific research subjects, focusing on frontier innovation","synergy between technological innovation platforms and innovation environments, constructing an innovation ecology"and"synergy between technological innovation platforms and scientific research subjects, connecting industry, academia and research innovation".Besides,it also finds 6 paths in the group of lack of high innovation output.
