数字经济对制造业绿色全要素生产率的影响研究——基于国家级大数据综合试验区的准自然试验

制造业作为高能耗、高污染的产业,在第二产业中占有相当重要的地位,探究制造业绿色转型发展问题具有重要的现实意义。选取我国 2005-2020 年 30 个省份的面板数据,首先运用SBM-GML模型对制造业绿色全要素生产率(GTFP)进行测算,随后将国家级大数据综合试验区的设立视为准自然实验,采用多期DID方法分阶段检验数字经济对制造业绿色全要素生产率的影响。结果表明:国家级大数据综合试验区建设能够显著提升制造业绿色全要素生产率,且具有稳健性;异质性检验表明,大数据综合试验区建设能够显著提升东中部地区的制造业绿色全要素生产率,且对中部地区的作用效果更为明显;机制检验发现,大数据综合试验区建设能够通过降低劳动力错配程度、提高研发强度、促进产业结构升级提升制造业绿色全要素生产率;进一步分析显示,随着数字化经济发展程度和绿色创新能力的提高,数字经济对制造业绿色全要素生产率的影响是非线性的,且均呈现出先抑制后促进的"U"型关系。
Research on the Impact of Digital Economy on Green Total Factor Productivity of Manufacturing Industry:A Quasi Natural Experiment Based on National Big Data Comprehensive Experimental Zone
As a high energy consuming and highly polluting industry,manufacturing plays a significant role in the secondary industry.Exploring the green transformation and development of manufacturing is of great practical significance.Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2020,the SBM-GML model was first used to measure the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing in-dustry.Subsequently,the establishment of a national level big data comprehensive experimental zone was regarded as a quasi natural experiment,and the impact of the digital economy on the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry was empirically tested in stages using a multi-period DID method.The results show that the construction of national level big data comprehensive experimen-tal zones can significantly improve the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry,and has robustness.Heterogeneity testing shows that the construction of the big data comprehensive experi-mental zone can significantly improve the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry in the eastern and central regions,and the effect on the central region is more significant.Mechanism tes-ting has found that the construction of big data comprehensive pilot zones can improve the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry by suppressing labor mismatch,increasing research and development intensity,and promoting industrial structure upgrading.Further analysis shows that with the development of the digital economy and the improvement of green innovation capabilities,the impact of the digital economy on the green total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry is non-linear,and both exhibit a U-shaped relationship of first inhibition and then promotion.
