A Study of Failure Knowledge Sharing Strategies among Members of Cross-Border Innovation Alliances
Cross-border innovation is an effective way for enterprises to break industrial boundaries and realize innovation through sharing knowledge.Exploring the failure knowledge sharing strategy among members of cross-border innovation alliances and providing different stakeholders with failure knowl-edge co-creation decision-making are conducive to enhancing the stability of cross-border innovation network, knowledge sharing efficiency and innovation performance.Based on analyzing the knowledge sharing process of innovation alliance members, this study constructs a game model of failure knowledge sharing among cross-border innovation alliance members by using three-party evolutionary game theory, and simulation is carried out through MATLAB software to explore the impact mechanism of three types of knowledge characteristics on the selection of enterprise failure knowledge sharing strategies. The re-sults show that there are two kinds of knowledge sharing strategies, knowledge co-creation and knowl-edge sabotage.Factors such as risk cost, reputation loss, hidden income, and knowledge dissemination rate have an impact on knowledge sharing strategies.Among members of cross-border innovation alli-ance,both strategies are possible when the benefit of sharing is greater than the cost.Failed knowledge is only suitable for spreading in a small range, and the stock of failed knowledge and the risk of sharing affect the choice of sharing strategy. As reputation loss increases and implicit revenue decreases, firms favor knowledge co-creation strategies.
