The term "geographical history" is a concept characterized with the disciplinary historical geography, which was put forwarded by Alan R.H.Baker.However,Chinese scholars were confused by this term, and translated it into "history of geography" or "history of geographical environment".Based on the thought in Baker's new article and the Chinese translation of this term,we propose that "geographical history" should be considered as a disciplinary related with geographical environment and its development history, that is,the term "geographical history" is different with historical geography.
